Finger Painting Gifts for Dad
we are going to Lebanon to visit my family for 3 months. Since my husband is not coming with us I decided to take this opportunity to introduce Bil to finger painting. This was also a good time to get Joe to recognize how good it feels to do something nice for another person. I wanted him to understand that we will be gone for a while and dad will really miss us. So while having fun let’s make something for Abe so he can look at when he feels lonely. Something so he knows we love him and miss him too.
We tried mixing colors and to make a print with more than one color. The idea is to introduce Joe to think outside the box. He is never one to mix colors! He plays with one play dough color at a time. I decided to get him to try it out and see for himself.
for this activity, I used My First Crayola fingerprinting and Paper set. It has 3 colors and 10 sheets of paper. The kids really had fun. You don’t have to get the set, you can get any washable colors and white sheet of paper. The made it easy and let work.
I labeled everything so we don’t forget because I realized it’s the safest way to always remember. I dated them as well.
I love the tiny toes and tiny hands.
Joe only uses red because it is his favorite color. He drew a snake because he has been talking a lot about his friend the snake. This friends seems to live under his bed.
